Leaf Table Runner

Here are a few images of the leaf wall hanging or table runner. You will find the kit on the web site
under kits and if you would like just the pattern you can purchase it on the web site too under patterns.

Les Fleur Quilt Kit

Wow! I didn't realize that it has been since May that I last posted something. Where has the summer gone?

I finally managed to purchase some fabrics for the Les Fleurs quilt (pattern in the book "Tea in the Garden"). I had used soft, muted pastel fabrics in my quilt and several quilters had commented that they would like to purchase the kit in the same tones. So here it is! The fabrics aren't the same as the original but close.
You can order the kit on the web site.

Charm Party Tote

Since I have very narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit I could never have a shoe fettish so I have a purse one instead. This is the first purse I made. I used the Charm Party Tote pattern, one charm pack (Bistro by Moda) and one yard of lining fabric. Ta-da!

Urban Couture Quilt

Finally! Here's the quilt I made using the Urban Couture fabric and the "Cake Mix" pattern.

I've had it finished for a little while. I took it up to the Kindred Hearts quilt show in Whitby a few weeks ago and it was very well received. I needed to order more jelly rolls and layer cakes.

I would like to thank the women who put on the quilt show in Whitby. It was very successful and they were very helpful in making the vendors feel welcome. Thank you!

Over Easy Easter Egg Table Runner

Here' s a cute project for Easter! This pattern is from Pieced Tree. It's a quilt as you go pattern which works up really fast. It also uses Thangles to make the half square triangles into some interesting designs.
I realize now I should have taken a picture of the back. I used some Debbie Mumm easter fabric that is pastels with easter eggs on it.
I don't know when I will be able to get this on the web site so if you are interested in the kit, it is $39.00. Kit includes all the fabric, pattern, backing and binding and enough Thangles to finish the project. Let me know by e-mail if you are interested.

Thangles

I now carry "Thangles" in all 15 sizes. A few of the new patterns I was working on called for them in the instructions so I thought I give them a try. In case you are wondering what they are they are strips of paper that you lay on top of your fabric and sew and then cut apart to make accurate half square triangles. They are really easy to use! They come as small as 1/2" to as large as a 6" square. Price: $6.00 a pkg. (a pkg of 2.5" finished has enough paper strips to make 300 half square triangles).
