Over Easy Easter Egg Table Runner

Here' s a cute project for Easter! This pattern is from Pieced Tree. It's a quilt as you go pattern which works up really fast. It also uses Thangles to make the half square triangles into some interesting designs.
I realize now I should have taken a picture of the back. I used some Debbie Mumm easter fabric that is pastels with easter eggs on it.
I don't know when I will be able to get this on the web site so if you are interested in the kit, it is $39.00. Kit includes all the fabric, pattern, backing and binding and enough Thangles to finish the project. Let me know by e-mail if you are interested.

Thangles

I now carry "Thangles" in all 15 sizes. A few of the new patterns I was working on called for them in the instructions so I thought I give them a try. In case you are wondering what they are they are strips of paper that you lay on top of your fabric and sew and then cut apart to make accurate half square triangles. They are really easy to use! They come as small as 1/2" to as large as a 6" square. Price: $6.00 a pkg. (a pkg of 2.5" finished has enough paper strips to make 300 half square triangles).

Birdie Sling Bag

This is the other fabric I have in the Fruit Ladies. I used the Birdie Sling Tote pattern by Amy Butler.

Urban Couture by Basic Grey

I have a new line of fabric in from Moda called Urban Couture by Basic Grey. The colours are nice and cheery for spring and summer. I have layer cakes, jelly rolls and 12 bolts of fabric in this line(there are 2 bolts of brown fabric at top). I am almost finished my sample quilt. I need to add some borders and get it machine quilted. I will post it as soon as it is done.

Fruit Ladies

I just had to make something "summery" to help with the cold winter days. The purse pattern is "Miranda day tote" and I used the Fruit Ladies fabric which is the cutest fabric ever. Each of the ladies are made up of a fruit depicting their shape. What shape are you?
This fabric also comes in a larger diagonal print.
I have kits made up for the purse pictured here.
Kits include 1/2 yd. fruit ladies fabric and 1 yd. red strawbery seed fabric. ($19.50)
Pattern is $9.00 and if you would like the clear handles I used they are $8.00.
I also carry Pellon fusible fleece for $8.00yd and Pellon decor bond for $5.00 yd. (Both of these products are recommemded for this pattern.
